Jack Black is Not Dead - Hackers Tweeted Fake Death Messages

Hackers gained unauthorized access to Jack Black band’s (Tenacious D) Twitter account and tweeted or posted fake messages (see below) stating that the American actor and musician has died at the age of 46. Jack Black is not the first celebrity that has been a victim of a death hoax, and will certainly not be the last. The band (Tenacious D) subsequently tweeted or posted the message below, assuring fans that Jack is alive and well, and the tweeted messages that claim Jack Black have died, is a sick prank created by hackers, who were able to gain unauthorized access to their Twitter account.

  • "It is with a heavy heart I am to announce that Jack Black passed away last night at 3:37am. The cause of death is yet unknown.

Jack Black celebrity death hoax is similar to the Michael Jordan, Celine Dion, Will Smith, Shaggy, Rapper Eminem, Jackie Chan, Oprah Winfrey, Miley Cyrus, Martin Lawrence and Angelina Jolie hoaxes.
