iPhone Giveaway Facebook Like-Farming Scams
Scammers are creating Facebook posts similar to the one below to trick as many people as possible into liking, commenting and sharing them, by claiming that they can win Apple iPhones. But, do not be fooled by these scammers because they are not giving away any iPhone smartphones. All they want to do is to make their page popular or go viral, by tricking potential victims into commenting on, liking and sharing it. Potential victims who follow the instructions in the scams, will start receiving fake messages with links to phishing websites that steal personal and financial information, and links to malicious websites that contain virus and malware that infect computers and mobile devices.
