Online users, beware of fake Prophet TB Joshua Ministries email messages like the one below, which have been created by scammers to trick potential victims into sending them their personal information or money. Once scammers have received their potential victims' information, they will either sell it to other scammers, use it for identity theft, or contact their potential victims in an attempt to scam them. Therefore, recipients of unsolicited email messages which appear as if they came from TB Joshua Ministries requesting personal information or money, should delete them and never follow the instructions in them. Online users who have already sent their information, should report it to the police. This is because the scammers may steal their identities.
T. B. Joshua (Temitope Balogun Joshua) is a Nigerian prophet and televangelist. He is the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a religious organisation that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos, Nigeria. His legitimate Facebook page is located at https://facebook.com/tbjministries/ and his website is located at http://emmanuel.tv/. All messages requesting money or personal information, which appear as if they came from T.B. Joshua should be verified on his Facebook page or website.
