"Your Wells Fargo Online Security Notification" Phishing Scam
The email message below with the subject: "Your Wells Fargo Online Security Notification," is a phishing scam. The fake email message was sent by cybercriminals to steal Wells Fargo users' username, password, personal and financial information, by attempting to trick them into opening the attached phishing HTML form and entering their information on it, which will be sent to the cyber-criminals responsible for the phishing scam.

Wells Fargo customers should not open the attachment or follow the instructions in the email message. If they receive email messages like the one above, they should go directly to Wells Fargo's website and sign into their accounts from there. If there is anything wrong with their Wells Fargo accounts it will be shown to them after signing into their accounts.
The attachment is a phishing Wells Fargo HTML form that sends the information entered on it to cybercriminals, who will use the stolen information to hijack their victims' accounts and use them fraudulently.
Therefore, Wells Fargo customers should never click on a link in an email message to sign or log into their online account, and should always look at their web browser's address bar to ensure that they are on Wells Fargo's website, and not on some other fake or phishing website.
Wells Fargo customers who have already submitted their information on the fake form, should contact Wells Fargo and change their passwords immediately.
