The "UNICEF Endorsed Grant of 2M USD" is a Donation Scam
Online users are asked to be aware of UNICEF donation advance fee scam below that is being sent out by scammers. The scam claims that the recipients have been selected to receive a grant of $2,000,000 USD from the UNICEF foundation, and ask the recipients to contact an email address in order to receive their money. But, once contact has been made, the scammers will ask their potential victims to send their personal information and subsequently ask them to send money, in order to receive their so-called grant or money. The UNICEF, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, is a United Nations program headquartered in New York City that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.

It is important to remember that when someone contacts you, claiming that you are the recipient of millions of dollars or have won the lottery, and asks you to send money in order to receive your money, lottery winnings or prizes, it is a SCAM. Legitimate companies or organizations will never ask their recipients or winners to send money in order to receive donations, prizes or winnings. The money that the scammers want the victims to send, which the scammers claim is for taxes, bank transfer cost, insurance or other expenses, is what they will steal. And, the victims on the other hand, will never receive the donations, winnings, prizes or money that they were promised.
Therefore, once you are asked to send money in order to receive money, it is a scam.
