American Express Phishing Scams Sent By Cybercriminals

American Express customers are advised not to click on links in e-mail messages to sign into their accounts, they should instead, go directly to American Express's website located at www.americanexpress.com, and sign-in from there. And, if there is someone wrong with their accounts or they need to update their account information, they will be notified. This will prevent American Express customers from clicking on links in phishing email messages sent by cybercriminals that go to fraudulent websites, which steal personal information and American Express online account credentials.
