"Your Apple ID Tried to Sign into iCloud from another Device" Phishing Scams

Apple users, be aware of fake "Your Apple ID Tried to Sign into iCloud from another Device" emails like the one below, which claim that someone tried to log in to your Apple accounts from another device. The fake email messages are phishing scams being sent by cybercriminals to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link ("Protect My Apple ID") in the email messages, which goes to fake Apple websites that steal account credentials. Once the cybercriminals have gotten their potential victims' credentials, they will attempt to gain access their accounts and use them fraudulently.

Therefore, Apple users who have already been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to change their passwords and check their accounts thoroughly for any discrepancies. And, for those whose accounts have already been hijacked, are asked to contact Apple for help.

If you have not signed in to your iCloud recently and someone may have accessed your account, go to your Apple ID to protect any suspicious activity.
