"Scanned Image from MX-2600N" Malicious Email

Virus alert! Online users who have received emails like the one below, which ask them to download a scanned image, are asked not to do so. This is because the link downloads a malicious file that will infect the computer of anyone who attempts to open it. The malicious file is a Microsoft scripting language that will attempt to download a virus, ransomware or other malware from a remote server on the Internet that infects the targeted computer with it.
