"Recommended by a Lawyer" Fake Facebook Privacy Notice
The "Recommended by a Lawyer" Facebook privacy notice, policy or copyright declaration update below is another fake or hoax. The first fake notice or policy was first spotted in June 2012 after Facebook became a publicly-traded company. Then, the fake privacy notice resurfaced in June 2013, October 2013, August 2014, November 2014, January 2015, June 2016, and now it has resurfaced again in February 2017. Facebook users who have received the Facebook Privacy Notice are asked to flag them as spam or remove them from their Facebook Walls or Timelines, and should not share by copying and pasting, "liking," or commenting on them. Doing so, will only help spread the hoax or misleading information to other Facebook users.
