Outlook "We Have Blocked Your E-Mail Access" Phishing Scams

Outlook users, delete email messages that claim that your email access has been blocked for incoming and outgoing emails. Also, do not follow the instructions in the same email messages, because they are phishing scams sent by cybercriminals to steal your email account’s user names and passwords.

Subject: E-mail alert! [158 ID: EN1e]

Dear,

For security reasons we have blocked your e-mail access and your incoming and outgoing emails.

We have reasons to believe someone else may have tried to access your account.

Simply restore your access by confirming your login information here or by following our secure link After you have confirmed your information you may use your account as usual.

We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Outlook users who have received and have alread followed the instructions in the phishing email messages, are asked to change their Outlook passwords immediately, before their accounts are hijacked by cybercriminals and used fraudulently. And, for Outlook users whose accounts have already been hijacked, they can click here for instructions to regain access to their accounts.
