"Your Account We be Shutdown - Mail Service Account out of Space" Phishing Scam

Online users who have received the email message below, which claims their email accounts are out of space, are asked to delete it and should not follow the instructions in it. The fake email message is a phishing scam being sent by cyber criminals to trick potential victims into clicking on the link within it. The link goes to a phishing website that steals email account credentials (username and password) by asking visitors to sign into it.

Online users who have already been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to change their email accounts' password immediately before their email account are hijacked and used fraudulently by cyber criminals.This is why it is important that online users remember never to click on a link to sign into their accounts. They should always go directly to their email accounts by typing the website address to their webmail account in their web browser or use Google to search.
