"Countdown To Your Mailbox Address Shutdown" Phishing Email Scam

Online users who have received email messages like the one below, which claim that their mailboxes have been compromised and will be permanently shutdown are phishing email scams. The phishing or fake email messages are being sent by cyber criminals who are attempting to trick the recipients into clicking on the link in them. But, the link in the phishing or fake email messages goes to a fraudulent website that steals email account credentials (usernames and passwords), personal information, and may also steal credit card information.

If this was you, then you can safely ignore this email.

If this wasn't you, your account has been compromised. Please follow these steps:

Re-verify your mailbox.

Unblock and secure your E-mail.

Failure to abide to the rules and regulation will be force to shutdown permanently.

Online users who have received the phishing email message asked to delete it. And, those who have already been tricked are asked to change their email account password before the cyber criminals responsible for the scam gain access to their accounts, hijacked them and use them fraudulently.
