Do Not Call 213-294-4017 - it is a Fake Bank of America Telephone Number

I got the fake Bank of America Support message below asking me to call 213-294-4017 because my card has been temporarily locked. When I called the number recording said, "This is Verizon Wireless. Please enter your 4 digit pen". When I did that it said, "we will now transfer you to Bank of America on secure network".

The Fake Bank of America Support Message

Notice-(my cell phone#) from Bank of America-Support. Code-Visa-Debit-Card temporarily locked. Call us now at 213-294-4017 to unlock.

That recording asked that you put in your debit/credit card number to better assist you. I walked across the street to BofA and asked. She said they don't ask for your card number because they would already have it.

BEWARE...A lot of people freak out and do what the recording says. Please don't!
