The "Utoronto New 2018 Microsoft Outlook Web Portal Migration" Phishing Scam
The fake University of Toronto (Utoronto) support team email is a phishing scam. The fake email, which claims the recipients to need to migrate to the new 2018 Microsoft Outlook Web portal, is being sent by cybercriminals. Therefore, recipients of the same email are asked not to click the link or follow the instructions in it.

The link in the email goes to this fake Utoronto website: utoronthelp.com. And, staff members and students should always go directly to https://weblogin.utoronto.ca/ to access their webmail, instead of clicking on a link in an email. Also, after signing in, they will be notified of important updates or changes.
University of Toronto's students or staff members who have already been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to contact Utoronto's I.T support team for help.
