The "Amazon is Now Hiring in Your Local Area" Employment Scam
Cybercriminals are collecting their potential victims' information via fake Amazon employment recruition text and email messages. The fake messages claim Amazon is employing and ask the recipients to go to a fake website where they are asked to fill out an application form. If the form is completed and submitted, the information will be sent to the cybercriminals, who will sell it to online scammers. The scammers will then use it to contact their potential victims and attempt to scam them.
