Alert - "Microsoft Date of Birth and Phone Number Database Confirmation" Scam

Microsoft users who received fake emails like the one below asking them to confirm their date of birth and phone number are asked to delete them. This is because the fake emails are being sent by cybercriminals to trick their potential victims into sending them their personal information, and subsequently their account credentials.

Remember, Microsoft and other legitimate companies will never ask their users or customers to confirm their account credentials, personal and financial information via an email message.
