"We've Temporarily Locked your AT&T Access ID" is a Phishing Scam

The fake "We've Temporarily Locked your AT&T Access ID" email, which claims the recipients should contact IT-HELP-DESK to keep their accounts Access ID safe, is a phishing scam being sent by cybercriminals. Therefore, AT&T customers are asked not to click on the link in it. They should instead, go directly to their accounts at https://www.att.com/my/ and sign-in from there. Once they have signed, they will notified of important changes or updates. This will prevent AT&T customers from getting tricked into visiting phishing websites that steal account credentials, personal and finanical information.
