Your credit card company will never lock your card and call you asking that you enter your credit card information over the phone in order to unlock it.

If you have received these fraudulent telephone calls, please report it to your service provider. And, if you were tricked into entering your credit card number over the telephone, please report it to your bank.

Never give out your credit card information to someone that calls you, regardless of what they claim that they need it for. Or, respond to an email message with your personal, credit card or other sensitive information.
