"Court-Ordered Debt Collections" Legal Notice Scam
The "Court-Ordered Debt Collections" email below is a fake. The fake email message is being sent by scammers to trick the recipients into sending them money by threatening legal actions. Therefore, recipients of the fake email message which appears as if it came from a so-called Court-Ordered Debt Collections, should delete it and not follow the instructions in it.
It is important that the public takes precautions when asked to send money via money transfer services like Western Union and MoneyGram, or Prepaid Debit Card to pay legal services or the government. This is because scammers use those untraceable money transfer services to collect money from their victims. Money sent via those services are not refundable, once the scammers have collected or used it.

We have repeatedly advised you of your long overdue balance in the amount of $1280.00. Since you have not made payment we have turned your account over to our attorneys and instructed them to commence suit without further delay. There is still time, however, to avoid suit if you contact us within the next 24 hours. This will be your final opportunity to resolve matters without the expense of court proceedings.
We have sent you this warning notification about legal proceedings of July 12th 2018 but you failed to respond on time, now it’s high time if you failed to respond in next 24 hours we will register this case inside court house. Consider this as a final warning. And we will be Emailing/ Fax this issue to your current employer to make sure they take strict Action against you. Your salary wages will be garnished.
