Fake Amazon Employment Website - jobs-amz.com

Scammers are using the website, www.jobs-amz.com, to trick potential victims into believing they are "registering" for employment at Amazon. The website asks for all your personal info, including bank account routing information. Do not fall for the "okie doke" or scam. Online users who are looking for employment at Amazon should always go to www.amazon.jobs

I received the email below, which is sent to potential victims by the scammers, with a link to the fake Amazon employment website:

"As you must have been informed, this position is a very rewarding job that doesn't interfere with your daily routine/activities. We strive to cultivate a familiar relationship with our employees, instead of an an employer-employee agenda, based on work matters. We highly value your feedback, so please keep us in the loop if there is something we can do for you.

To become a legal employee of Amazon, you need to:

1. Read carefully and agree with the Employment contract.

2. E-mail us a scanned or photo copy of the filled in and signed Employment contract along with a clear picture with your ID, a picture with the back of your ID and a selfie picture with you, holding your ID, in order to confirm the validity of your paperwork.

See attached an example, on how you need to confirm your ID, in order to get your application approved.

3. Go on our website and register, by clicking the Register button.

( you can find our recruiting center website in the signature below or on the top of the attached employment contract ).

If you have any questions, don`t hesitate to contact us."
