British Airways - Over 380 Thousand Victims

At the beginning of September, adversaries stole data of about 400 thousand clients of British Airways. The CEO of the air company Alex Cruz has already tendered an apology. It is noted by the company that the hackers stole information related to the transactions of 380 thousand people. Among the victims of this attack, one might find people who made use of ba.com website and the company's app to book the tickets during the period from August 21 to September 5.

British Airways emphasizes that the company contacts all the victims and advises all the clients, who reckon that this incident could touch them upon, to get in contact with the bank and follow the instructions provided.

At the same time, the head of British Airways claims that the stolen information doesn't include personal data.

In the light of the foregoing, it is necessary to take all reasonable precautions to protect the data.
