Netflix Account Suspension Phishing Scam
Netflix users who have received emails claiming their accounts have been suspended are asked not to click on the links in the same emails. Especially, emails with links to fake Adobe Flash Update websites like the one below. This is because cybercriminals are sending out fake Netflix Account Suspension emails with links to malicious websites that trick recipients into downloading spyware and other malware. Therefore, Netflix users are asked to always go directly to www.netflix.com and sign into their accounts. Once they are have signed into their accounts, they will be notified of their account status and will be able to view important alerts, if there is any.
