Instagram Someone Trying To Recover Your Password Scams

Facebook users who have received emails like the one below, which claim a request to reset their Instagram password was received, are asked not to click on the link in them. This is because the fake emails are phishing scams being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to steal their potential victims' Instagram account credentials. Therefore, Instagram users who have been tricked by the fake and phishing emails are asked to change their password immediately before their accounts are hijacked and used fraudulently.
