"Scotland Yard Police" Advance Fee Scams Being Sent by Online Scammers
The fake "Scotland Yard Police" email below is a scam. Recipients are asked to delete it and should not follow the instructions in it. The fake email is being sent by scammers who are impersonating the real person and who are attempting to trick their potential victims into sending them money or personal information. An advance-fee scam is a form of fraud and one of the most common types of confidence trick. The scam typically involves promising the victim a significant share of a large sum of money, in return for a small up-front payment, which the fraudster requires in order to obtain the large sum.

Arrest of two Nigerians, presently in our Custody Charged with an Offense of Fraudulently and diverting huge amount of Funds which was meant for you as the beneficiary.
This is to inform you that, the above subject matter is related to you which lead to the arrest of these two above suspect who are in possession of a huge amount of money awaiting transit to Switzerland, During our interrogation with them, it was disclosed to us that it was unclaimed funds meant to be for you, but it was routed London –USA - Switzerland, Secondly the Legal documents found on them bear your name as the sole beneficiary of the said fund.
Due to all the irregularities in their statements, we discovered that they are fraudulent, for this reason we are contacting you to get back to Metropolitan police if you know the above suspects in the past or if you are been aware of them claiming your funds on your behalf. We urgently demand a response to this letter to enable us advice you on how to follow up this issue with these suspects to enable the recovered funds approve to you as the sole Beneficiary.
