The "Michael Bloomberg Random Gifts" Scam

Michael Bloomberg is not secretly giving away gifts worth millions of dollars to randomly selected individuals worldwide. Therefore, recipients of the fake email message below, which claims he is doing so, are asked not to follow the instructions in it. This is because the fake email is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into sending money. The scammers will claim the money is for taxes or fees, but once they receive their victims' money, they will take it and disappear.

Your email address was selected online while searching at random. Kindly get back to me at your earliest convenience, so that I will know your email address is valid.
