The "Facebook a User has just Signed into your Account from a New Device" Phishing Scam
Facebook users who have received messages like the one below, which claim a user has just signed into their accounts from a new device, asked not to click on the links in them or follow the instructions them. This is because the fake messages are being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick their potential victims into visiting a fake Facebook website where they will be asked to sign-in. But, any attempts to sign-in will result in the potential victims' username and password being sent to the cybercriminals.
Once the cybercriminals receive the stolen Facebook credentials, they will use it to gain access to the accounts and use them maliciously or fraudulently.

Facebook users should never click on a link to sign into their accounts. They should instead, go directly to www.facebook.com and sign-in from there. Also, Facebook users who have already been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to change their passwords. Click here for instructions.
