The "Samsung Galaxy S9 for 1$" Scam Being Sent by Scammers

Online users are asked to be on the lookout for fake messages, like the one below, which claim they have a chance to receive a Samsung Galaxy S9 for 1$ if they have answer a few questions. The fake messages, which are often seen on Facebook, is just another trick by online scammers to trick their potential victims into sending them their personal information, and in some cases, their credit card or account information.

A "Galaxy S9 for 1$" Sample Message

Hi! :) A few days ago I saw an article on how you can get a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9 for 1$ if you live in Australia. You just need to answer 4 questions correctly! :) It turns out that all you need to do is simply enter the code SGS9512LM in Google and click on the first link in the results.

Read this article to learn more. It's very easy! :) Yesterday, a courier brought me a package which contained the brand new Samsung Galaxy s9! Better hurry up, as the promotion ends today!"
