Malicious Block Chain Emails Being Sent by Cybercriminals
Online users who have received the fake and malicious Block Chain emails like the one below are asked not to follow the instructions in them. This is because the fake emails have an attached PDF document with an embedded link that downloads malicious Microsoft Windows executable file called "BTC.exe". The file contains a Trojan or spyware that will infect your computer if you attempt to open it. Once infected, the cybercriminals behind the malicious emails will be to gain access to your computer, spy on you, and steal the information on your computer.
