Fake Red Cross Donation via Bitcoin Created by Scammers
Scammers are sending out fake Red Cross donation emails like the one below, which asks recipinets to to make donations to a Bitcoin account at Coinbase. Therefore, online users are asked to delete the emails and should also go directly to the Red Cross' website at www.redcross.org to make their donations via credit card or PayPal.
