"Jay Clayton" Advance Fee Scams Being Sent by Online Scammers

The fake "Jay Clayton" email below is a scam. Recipients are asked to delete it and should not follow the instructions in it. The fake email is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into sending them money or personal information by impersonating someone else. An advance-fee scam is a form of fraud and one of the most common types of confidence trick. The scam typically involves promising the victim a significant share of a large sum of money, in return for a small up-front payment, which the fraudster requires in order to obtain the large sum.

To achieve its mandate, the SEC enforces the statutory requirement that public companies and other regulated companies submit quarterly and annual reports, as well as other periodic reports

Report reaching my office now from the United Nation and the IRS states that you have been a victim of scam in the trade market due to impersonation and security hazard thereby losing a huge amount of money which is yet to be estimated and confirmed.

I wish to apologize for this incident and notify you that this office has not been aware of this fraudulent activity up until now. I promise you that this office along side the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will do any and everything in our power to investigate bring this criminal to justice.

The United Nation has set up a compensation grant for victims of this incident noting that you are not the only victim of this scam. The SEC will appreciate it if you can verify the below information to enable us process this grant with the United Nation and also work with our offices in other continent so as to bring this criminals to justice and transfer your compensation grant to you.
