Microsoft OneDrive Phishing Emails Sent by Cybercriminals
Online users who have received fake OneDrive emails with links that go websites other than onedrive.live.com are asked to delete them. This is because the fake emails are being sent by cybercriminal who are attempting to trick their potential victims into visting fake OneDrive websites. Once on the fake websites, visitors will ask to signin with their Office 365, Outlook, Google, AOL, Yahoo or other email credentials. But, if the visitors attempt to sign-in, their credentials will be sent to the cybercriminals behind the scam.
Once cybercrimails have receievd the stolen credenial, they will gain acess to their potential victims' account, hijack the accounts and use them fraudulently.
Online users who have already been tricked are asked to change their passwords immediately befoore their accounts are hijacked.
