The "Discover Bank Update Data" Phishing Scam

The fake "Discover Bank Update Data" email below is a phishing scam being sent by cybercriminals. Therefore, online users are asked not to follow the instructions in it. This is because the links in the fake email go to fake Discover website, where visitors will be asked to sign-in. If the visitors attempt to sign-in, their Discover account credentials will be sent to the cybercriminals behind the scam. Once the cybercriminals received the stolen credentials, they will use it to gain unauthorized access to their potential victims' accounts and use the accounts fraudulently.

In order to achieve that we need you to update your data in our database as we also

intend to register your current IP address to ascertain online impersonators.
