Fifth Third Bank customers are asked to be aware of "Account Restricted" phishing scams like the one below which claim that their accounts have been restricted because of suspicious activities. The phishing scams steal online banking account credentials by tricking the recipients into clicking on a link in the fake email messages. The link goes to a fake Fifth Third Bank website disguised as the legitimate one located at www.53.com.
