"AOL Terms of Service, Payments Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy Update" Phishing Scams
Cybercriminals are sending out fake "AOL Terms of Service, Payments Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy Update" emails like the one below to potential victims, in an attempt to trick them into clicking on malicious links in the same emails. The malicious links go to phishing websites that steal visitors' email or online account credentials, by tricking them into signing in.

Hi AOL User,
Our community and vision for your mail experience have grown significantly, so we’re updating our Terms of Service, Payments Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy (collectively, “Terms”). The Terms will go into effect for all existing users on May 21 , 2019. When you use AOL on or after that day, we’ll ask you to agree to the new Terms of Service and your continued use of the AOL Platform from that day on will be subject to the new Privacy Policy.
Due to our new Terms, we will be closing all email address using our old services. This simply means your email account will be discontinued (closed) after May 21 , 2019.
If you wish to continue using our email services please accept our new terms to avoid mail closure.

Both the old and new versions of the Terms can be found at the Terms of Service, Payments Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy, tabs through May 21, 2019. You should review these Terms in full yourself.
