The "Pedro Hills" Donation Scams Sent by Online Scammers
Recipients of fake emails like the one below, which claim that they have been selected by Pedro Hills to receive a donation are asked not to follow the instructions in the same emails. This is because the fake emails are being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into sending them money for a fake donation.
Remember, once you are asked to send money or information in order to receive a donation or lottery prize, it is a scam. Once the scammers receive their victims' money, they will take it and you will not receive the donation or lottery prize you were promised.
