The "lB Deposit Confirmation" Phishing Scam
The "lB Deposit Confirmation" email below is a phishing scam that steals Yahoo account credentials. Therefore, recipients are asked not to open the attachment. The attachment is an HTML page, which looks exactly like Yahoo's Sign-in page. If you attempt to sign into the fake page, your Yahoo account crednetials will be sent to the cybercriminals. Once the cybercriminals have gotten the stolen credentials, they will hijack your account and use it for malicious purposes.
