"Yahoo.com Support Unit Scheduled Software Update' Phishing Scam

The fake "Yahoo.com Support Unit is carrying out a scheduled software update" below is a phishing scam. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in it. The fake email is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in it, which goes to a fake Yahoo website.

If visitors to the website attempt to sign-in, there Yahoo credentials will be sent to the cybercriminals. The cybercriminals will use the stolen credentials to gain access to their potential victims accounts and use the accounts fraudulently.
