"Spotify Unusual Activity In Your Account" Phishing Scam

Spotify users who have received the fake email notification below are asked not to click the link in it. This is because the fake email is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick the recipients into clicking on the link that goes to a fake Spotify website. Once on the fake website, visitors will be asked to sign-in, but any attempt to sign-in will result in the visitors' Spotify credentials being sent to the cybercriminals.

Once the cybercriminals have gotten the stolen credentials, they will use it to gain unauthorised access to their victims' accounts, hijack and use them fraudulently. Therefore, Spotify users who have been tricked by the phishing scam are asked to change their passwords immediately.
