Sheng Siong Scam - Fake SMS Notifying of Lucky Draw Win
There are fraudulent SMS notifications been sent by online scammers informing the public of their win in an "August Draw". Please DO NOT click the link in the SMS or follow the instructions in them, as you will be directed to a checkout page on a fraudulent website that will ask you to enter your credit card information. A monthly subscription of SGD 122 will be charged to your credit card upon checkout.
Sheng Siong would like to inform that they do not send out SMS notifications to their customers. Also, their lucky draw winners will never be asked for their credit card information or to fill up personal information via any links. Furthermore, the Sheng Siong Mid-Year Lucky Draw season has already ended on 3 August 2019.
Please do not divulge your credit card details and/or transfer any payments when you encounter suspicious messages, and avoid circulating the scam link.
