TSB Alert Scam Text - Card Locked Due to Unusual Activity
The TSB alert text below, which claims the recipient's card has been locked due to unusual activity, is being sent by online scammers. The fake text attempts to trick potential victims into clicking the link in it that goes to a fake TSB website. The fake will ask visitors to enter their account credentials, personal and financial information. But, any information submitted on the fake website will be sent to the cybercriminals.

Your TSB Card has been locked due to unusual activity at 05.15. Proceed to https://tsbfraud.com to review the charge on your card"
TSB will never:
- Contact you out of the blue letting you know your money is at risk, and we’ll never ask for your PIN, one-time password or your Internet Banking log in details.
- Ask you to hand over your card, PIN or cash – and neither will the police.
- Ask you to transfer money into another "safe" account.
