Dangers of the Jump Trip Challenge Prank
We are using this media to advise the public of the growing trend of a popular prank called the Jump Trip Challenge or the Tripping Jump Challenge, which appears to be spreading on social media. Several videos are circulating on the internet showing people jumping and violently falling to the ground after being tripped by others. People are being cautioned against the popular prank and are advised to take every precaution to stop or prevent this practice.
What is the Jump Trip Challenge or the Tripping Jump Challenge?
In this challenge, people encourage their friends or family members to compete in the tripping jump challenge, which includes three persons. The three persons are placed in o horizontal line with the person in the middle unaware of what will happen. The persons on both ends give the impression that all three persons will be jumping, but instead, the two persons on either side use their feet to trip the middle person who innocently jumps, causing that person to fall inhumanly to the floor.
The prank is a horrific act and demonstrates a lack of good judgment on the part of those involved and should not be tolerated. People partaking in the prank not realizing that a fall of such nature can cause serious mental, physical, emotional damage with great legal and financial implications.
