Facebook Account Unusual Sign-In Activity Scam

The "Facebook Account Unusual Sign-In Activity" email notification below is a scam. Therefore, recipients are asked to delete it and should not follow the instructions in it. The fake email is being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in it. The link in the fake email goes to a fake Facebook website where visitors will be asked to sign-in. But, any attempt to sign-in will result in their Facebook account credentials being sent to the cybercriminals behind the scam.

Once the cybercriminals have gotten the stolen credentials, they will use it to gain unauthorized access to the associated Facebook accounts and use the accounts to maliciously. Therefore, Facebook users who have been tricked by the scam are asked to attempt to change their passwords or regain access to their accounts.
