Is Bank of America Advisory Panel a Scam?

The Bank of America Advisory Panel does not seem to be a scam (see the email below). According to information on Bank of America's legit Facebook page, their marketing Research team collects feedback through the Advisory Panel that they send via emails inviting customers to participate.

The link in the email goes to https://bofaadvisorypanel.ipsos-forum.com/, which appears to be legit website.

Although the email seems to be legit, scammers can create a fake copy of the Bank of America Advisory Panel email with links to phishing websites that steal account credentials, personal and financial information. Therefore, Bank of America customers should know that BoF will never ask them to reply with any personal information such as your Social Security number, ATM or PIN. And, if they receive a suspicious email that uses Bank of America’s name, it should be forwarded to abuse@bankofamerica.com.
