If you have gotten an email from paypal@receiptpayment.com like the one below, please do not follow the instructions in it. This is because the fake email is a scam sent by online scammers. The scammers send fake the email to potential victims in an attempt to trick them into contacting them. Once contacted, the scammers will attempt to trick their potential victims into giving them their personal and financial information. If the potential victims disclose their sensitive information, the scammers will use it to gain unauthorized access to their PayPal account and use the accounts fraudulently.
