5146004447 UPS Text Scam Requesting Payment for Delivery

Scammers are sending fake UPS text messages from telephone number 5146004447 with a link to a fake website requesting full credit card payment details, name, and date of birth. Therefore, if you have received such UPS scam text, please delete it and do not click the link in it. Any information submitted on the fake website will be sent to the scammers who will steal and use it fraudulently.

How the Scam Works

A fake text is sent to the potential victims from telephone number 514-600-4447. The text claims it is from UPS and ask the recipients to click the link in it because they need to pay $3.50 for delivery of a so-called shipment.

If the link is clicked(do not do this), potential victims will be taken a fake UPS website where they will be asked to for personal and credit card information. If the requested information is submitted, it will be sent to the scammers who will use it fraudulently. Therefore, if you have been tricked the UPS scam, please contact your bank immediately for help.
