IPS1204762 Scam - International Parcel Service Parcel Text Notification

The IPS1204762 text parcel notifications below are IPS scams. The fake IPS notifications, which claim the recipient's parcel has been stopped for unpaid customs fees, are scams created by cybercriminals to steal their potential victims' personal and financial information. Therefore, recipients of the same text messages are asked not to click the link in them.

The IPS / International Parcel Service Scam

"We tried to deliver your parcel IPS1204762, but there is an unpaid customs fee. Please follow the instructions here: 08o.me/Xw1OZ"

"There is an update on ur parcel IPS1204762. Item stopped due to unpaid customs fee. Follow the instructions here: https://bit.do/fLNJD"

I got another fake text from IEIPS-SMS: "016448296GB" and was taken to a fake IPS (International Parcel Service) website, which automatically entered the so called tracking number and then wanted my personal details and €1.50 for a customs fee. The link in the text is "j5l.website/Xljmb".
