The viral hoax or fake news below, which tells users they will have to pay to continue using WhatsApp, has been resurrected again in 2021. The hoax started in 2016, popped up in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and now in 2021. If you have received the hoax or fake news, just delete it, do not share it.

The "Tomorrow at 6 pm They Are Ending WhatsApp" Hoax

Tomorrow at 6 pm they are ending WhatsApp and you have to pay to open it, this is by law. This message is to inform all of our users, our servers have recently been very congested, so we are asking you to help us solve this problem.

We require our active users to forward this message to each of the people in your contact list to confirm our active users using WhatsApp, if you do not send this message to all your contacts WhatsApp will then start to charge you.
