AIB Scam Text Messages- Unauthorized or Suspicious Direct Debit Transaction

If you receive AIB scam text messages with a link in them, like the ones below, please do not follow the instructions in them. The AIB scam texts are being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking the link in them. If the links are clicked, potential victims will be taken to a fake or phishing AIB website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information. You may also be asked to input codes from your Card Reader or divulge a One Time Passcode (OTP).

A unauthorized transaction was performed using your AIB Visa Card. You can Authorize or Cancel this request at: hxxps://aibassistance-online .com
