Rebate From DMV Scam Text Message - Department of Transportation

The DMV rebate scam text below is being sent by scammers. Therefore, recipients of DMV texts asking them to click on the link within it are asked not to do so. The DMV scam text claims there is a Driver's License waiver and asks recipients need to verify their driver's license details. But, if the link is clicked, recipients will be taken to a phishing website where they will ask to submit personal and financial information. And, if that information is submitted, it will be fraudulently by the scammers.
