Union Gloves Invoice Scam in the Mail - Fort Lauderdale

I received what appears to be an invoice for gloves in the mail. The total amount due was $982.00 and it has a note to "Make all checks payable to Union Gloves". It also shows that it was shipped via UPS. There are no phone numbers for the business on the invoice, so you can't call to ask about it. They even added a note on the bottom that states "For W-9 Request Email AP@Uniongloves.com". I'm sure they want people to email them so they will also have their emails to send them scam emails as well.

I looked up the company on the internet and the business was registered as an LLC in Florida on 09-14-2021 and the managers name is Onur Mengi.

Luckily, I am the Operations Manager and I know we didn't order gloves from Union Gloves and I knew right away this was a scam. However, I can see where it would be possible for someone to mistake this as a real invoice and pay it, and that is such a shame.

I wish there was a way to stop these people but nothing will happen to them. They will just create another bogus business and start the same scam over again.
